With over 15 years in digital communications, web content strategy, and UX consulting, Myla has spent a career helping organizations make their digital experiences clear, accessible, and easy to use.
She’s spent years redesigning websites for universities and public-sector organizations, leading content migrations for large teams.
Her foundation in customer service started at the front lines of a busy movie theatre, working up to team leadership. That built an understanding of what motivates employees, fosters satisfaction and creates lasting loyalty in fast-paced, high-turnover environments.
Myla specializes in simplifying complexity and putting the user at the heart of every experience. She is passionate about inclusivity, empathy led processes and that community building is a key component to success.
From Family Kitchens to Culinary Leadership
Amy started in her local neighbourhood’s Italian family restaurant and went on to work in some of the busiest kitchens in Toronto including Chipotle, Amsterdam Brewhouse, and Electric Mudd BBQ.
She operated as head chef at Grand Electric, which gave her insight into running million-dollar restaurants. She later led the culinary production for ChefDrop, a pioneering restaurant home delivery platform and served as the Culinary Director for Niche Gluten-Free, a UK-based company expanding into Canada.
With expertise in menu costing, dietary needs, vendor selection, and team leadership, she knows how to keep operations profitable, efficient, and adaptable, while also earning the respect and trust of her teams.
Through motivation, fairness, and equity, she hopes to lead the modern generation of food business owners into a productive and happy work environment for all.
